Meet Ged and Glen Edgcumbe
Ged and Glen Edgcumbe invited us into their lovely home to talk about their experience of financial planning with Goodmans. After working away for 40 years they moved back to Plymouth to enjoy the moors and beautiful beaches that Devon has to offer. It was around this time that they searched the internet for financial planners in the area and decided to meet with Andrew at the Goodmans office in Plymouth.
Glen describes that first meeting as friendly and relaxed and how good it was that Andrew was interested in finding out what their hopes and plans were for their retirement. Glen believes that It’s really important for them to find the balance out of enjoying today and feeling secure for the future.
When it comes to their annual reviews, they enjoy how comprehensive it is but also how easy it is to understand. It means they don’t have to worry about their money. Instead Ged can focus on one of his many interests, from playing golf to being a trustee for Mt. Edgcumbe or immersing himself in their family tree. They both enjoy walking on the moors and Glen spends quality time with her mum and grandchildren.
