Georgie joined Goodmans in 2025 as a fully qualified Financial Planner with five years’ experience in the field. Based in our Exeter office, Georgie adds extra value for clients with her specialist knowledge in inheritance tax and trusts.
Background
After graduating with a first‑class degree in Maths and Spanish from the University of Exeter, Georgie began her career in luxury travel, designing bespoke holidays across Europe. In 2020, she decided to make use of the other half of her degree by pivoting to finance, first learning the ropes as a Paraplanner before qualifying as a Financial Planner.
At the heart of Georgie’s approach is a genuine love of problem‑solving and helping clients gain clarity and confidence around their finances. She particularly enjoys working with families who are gifting wealth across generations, and supporting young adults with their first experience of investing.
Outside of work
A love of the Great Outdoors means you can often find Georgie mountaineering, wild swimming and hiking with her husband and their spaniel, Tryfan. She also enjoys regular training in aerial silks and hoops at her local circus studio. Still a passionate traveller, Georgie spent her honeymoon volunteering on a conservation project in Borneo and continues to explore the world when she can.
